| Detergent-compatible Protein Quantitation |  | The detergent-compatible Bradford Reagent, ready-to-use, is a convenient 1X concentrated dye reagent for rapid and accurate estimation of total protein concentration in solution. This reagent can accurately quantitate protein with up to 0.1% detergent. Some detergents eg CHAPS can be used with concentrations up to 5%. In addition, unlike BCA and UV methods this product tolerates reducing reagents, UV adsorbing chemicals and chelating agents eg 0.1 M EDTA. The quantification procedure is simple and rapid. The dye binding process is complete in approximately 5 min with colour stability for 1 hour. The working range is 1-2000 µg/ml of protein. The assay can be performed in test tubes or microplates. With the Fermentas Bradford concentrate, you get the convenience of working with one protein estimation kit irrespective of the make-up of your protein sample. |

| Micro-Dialysis Tubes |  | The micro-dialysis tubes from GeBa allow high throughput dialysis of volumes as low as 10 ul (Mini) and as high at 20 ml (Mega) securely and without risk of dialysis membrane puncture/leakage. These dialysis tubes are free of RNase and DNase and are available in 4 different volumes (Mini:- 10-250 ul; Midi:- 50-800 ul; Maxi:- 0.1-3 ml; Mega:- 3-20 ml) and 3 different MWCOs (3.5 kDa MWCO, 8 kDa MWCO and 12-14 kDa MWCO). The membrane is ultra-clean, EDTA-treated regenerated cellulose, sulphur- and heavy metal-free. Each Mini and Midi kit contains 10 dialyzers and each Maxi kit contains 15 dialyzers. All kits contain one floating rack that can hold up to four dialyzers. The new Megas are supplied in different plastic colours depending on the MWCOs and have three possible caps optimized for three total sample volumes: 10 ml, 15 ml, and 20 ml. These Mega dialyzers are supplied in packs of 10. You can dialyse a large number of proteins simultaneously thereby avoiding bottlenecks in applications as diverse as de-salting and buffer exchange of protein and peptide solutions to sample conditioning in drug screening studies. |
