Researchers may at first view Owl devices as “glued” together when in fact we use a special technique which bonds the joint in such a way that if the unit were to ever be damaged the sheet acrylic would break or shatter before the joint. Owl’s engineer, Greg Fox, demonstrated the strength of an Owl device. Weighing approximately 250lbs, Greg stood on the most popular device, a Model B2. After several attempts, Greg was determined to break the device. Finally, after standing on the centre with one foot, the lid broke. All the bonded joints were still in excellent shape. Flexibility
